i apologize, no pictures this time :)

okay so today was awesome :)

it started out with our marching thingger, turns out it was to celibrate the best students in the school :)

anyways that was really hot, like the sun was overly hot... 

anywho, after that we had regular school. but then came "sports"

now we had to jump, i suck at jumping, anybody who knows me well enough knows that im a throws person not a jumper. After the jumping failed, we went to throws, he gave us a baseball (i think a soft ball cuz it was huge) and he showed how to "shot put" it, the guy who went first did it wrong, so i was trying to show him, and the teacher got me to do it, and i did, no stepping but just a standing throw. After this was javelin, i was dissapointed in the javelin, it is horribly warped, adn i think i threw it about 10 m, i said my pb was like 22 or 23 m, as of 2 years ago, but the teacher asked me to be on the athletics team :D --- so if my host parents okay it i will be doing my beloved throws here in ecuador :D :D and i hope it works out for the best, cuz i love throws :D 

after this we had chemistry, and he was going to give homework, and everyone was yelling "por favor" which means please, and so i put my acting skills to use, and i "cried (fake)" and said "POR FAVOR" in a sobbing voice, he gave less homework :D -- i didnt have to do it anyways, but hey i helped my class mates :D 

anyways, everyone in the class is being awesome to me, and they are such good friends, im really glad i got off my butt and went to a different country. 

lastly in fotografia i have to do a "story" in pictures, i was going to do my exchange but idk why the song concrete angel stuck in my head, and so i think i am doing something along the lines of that :) -- i hope i can get my camera soon, or buy the same one here :)

Alrighty, well first off, sorry for it being like over a week since i posted but here it goes


this week at school has been prety awesome, i mean one day was horrible but the rest were good :)
we have this martching thingger that we have to do on wednesday, and i am in it :) -- its annoying and i feel like i am in cadets or something but hey its different right? :)
anyways, the whole spanish thing is getting a bit better as i am learning more every day :) i can actually ask where things are now :)
At my school we have this really cool slide thing -- and its huge -- i guess it is for the primarys, but if you know me well enough you would know that i dont care haha :D -- anyways we went down that, and fell, and down again :D -- but they also have this zip line thing too :) oh my is it the best thing ever --- it feels like you are flying :D
anyways, Today we went to see more family, and I ATE CRAB!!!! --- i mean it was okay, i wouldnt eat it every day, but it was okay -- but it had a face.............. i watched them kill it, and clean it, and boil it...... so i gaged a few times, but it was okay :P
Also we went to see a house in the mits of being built, it was pree cool.
I really did not do much this week..... haha

anyways i have fotografia, and my fotografia teacher doesnt like my camera, gonna have to invest in a better one i guess :P --- oh i also was busy drawing this week too -- a pic, and on my hand :P

September 14th 2012

Today was AWESOME :D 

I got taken out of school and i still had to get up early... the beginning of the day was kind of crummy seeing as i had no idea what i was doing, but later on it got better.

We (Julia, Lucas and I) got dropped off at some eye doctors place to volunteer. At first we were downstairs with a bunch of patients who yesterday had eye surgeries, and were being given things to take care of themselves. After this we went upstairs where i saw the coolest, yet creepiest thing ever......... A "dock" being put into a persons eye... this is a huge needle being put in right below your eye and right above it - this numbs the eye before you operate. After this they take out the damaged lens, and replace it with a new one. :) didn't get to watch the operation part though because we left. 

Julia, Lucas and I were taken to another facility across the street where there were about 20 legally blind people. I had no idea how this was going to turn out... but it turned out awesome - i got to watch as a leader led the blind person down the stairs, and out the door onto the street, and making sure they knew how to use their cane properly (walking stick, the one that is long with a ball on the end). When we came back in i saw how they trail along the walls to get around a room, while using their stick.... :) :) --- after all of this the students (who were from ages 12 to at least 70) presented a present to each of the three helpers :) it was too cute :) 

anyways, i had alot of fun today and idk why but i reallly loved working with the blind :)

September 13th

So no school for me tomorrow as i am going to help rotary with something :)

But anyways school is going quite well now :)
